Rich and Lynn's Wedding Website.

February 2022 Update:

Game on. We've added room block info below and will continue to update the site as we get closer to June 18, 2022.

Rich Harris and Lynn Kelly are getting married! Well, as you may have heard, legally we already did by ourselves (with a dog witness) in Rock Creek Park on July 4, 2020.

But that doesn't mean we're not going to celebrate! It will just be a little bit later than we thought -- June 18, 2022.

We are sad that it is so far out, but are very excited (hoping?) that it is far enough out, that we will be able to have a super fun party, and that you will be able to join us. There are lots more details to work out, but these are the most important ones:

About Washington, DC

Washington, DC is a major tourist destination on the East Coast of the United States. There are lots of things we like about it that we're excited to share with you. If you think you're going to spend a couple days here while you're in town, stay tuned for info on that. "What should we do and where should we eat?" is Rich's favorite game.

Covid Info

We've been watching this whole thing play out for the past three years now, and taken things pretty seriously, and will continue to do both in the months ahead. We plan on updating this page as the wedding gets closer, but this is what we're thinking now:

What is the Covid policy for this wedding?

It's not the most fun thing to think about, but these days it seems like it's required. So: vaccinations are required. We don't plan on going person by person to verify, but please don't come to our wedding if you're not vaccinated! Our daughter will be six months old, and others who will be there can't get vaccinated even if they wanted to, so please don't put them at risk!

We will have masks available and encourage anyone who wants one to wear it. In fact, if you want to wear one, we want you wear it and will be sad if you don't put it on.

The space is very big and should have good circulation of air along with room to spread out. It might even feel a little too big, but that's part of the idea.
